Beesset and Pixel ticketing systems in 30 new Yutong buses in Białystok
The beginning of July 2026 marked another major deployment in Białystok for our team. Together with Pixel, we carried out the production launch of ticketing systems in 30 new Yutong buses that joined the city’s public transport fleet.
As part of the project, our scope included the deployment and configuration of software for several types of onboard devices:
✅ mobile ticket vending machines, enabling passengers to purchase tickets directly on board,
✅ electronic ticket validators,
✅ paper ticket validators.
One of the more interesting elements of the implementation was the use of the NV1 validator as a device for validating traditional paper tickets.
For this purpose, we designed a dedicated graphical user interface (GUI) from scratch, tailored to the functions performed by the device within Białystok’s ticketing system.
The validator works with Pixel’s XC-6 onboard computer, from which it receives information related to the vehicle’s current route and device operating restrictions. This allows it to function as an integral part of the bus’s complete onboard system.
At the same time, the validator’s 7-inch display can present additional messages and announcements, while in standard operating mode it shows the vehicle’s current route.
This is another deployment carried out by Beesset together with Pixel, in which our software supports various elements of the ticketing system – from ticket sales and electronic ticket handling to the traditional validation of paper tickets.
The video below demonstrates the operation of the NV1 validator in a configuration designed for paper ticket validation:
