AI Analytics, Research and Development

AI Analytics and R&D

As part of our artificial intelligence solutions, we work on image and audio analysis, including the detection and classification of objects such as vehicles, people, and specific events.

We also develop modules for advanced data analysis, anomaly detection, and prediction of undesirable events, including failures of devices and system infrastructure. These solutions enable early identification of potential threats, help minimise their impact, and support the optimisation of maintenance processes.

The video material presents work carried out in 2020 on our licence plate recognition system.

A practical example of the use of our licence plate recognition technology is the solution implemented in devices supporting Paid Parking Zone enforcement in Tychy.

The video material demonstrates the application in operation.

Device Design and Compliance with Standards

Research and development activities carried out at BEESSET cover not only software development, but also the design of new devices and their preparation to meet applicable technical and environmental standards.

We have experience in designing solutions intended, among other applications, for rail transport, vehicles, and self-service devices. In our projects to date, we have taken into account requirements arising from standards and regulations including:

  • PN-K 02511:2000 – Railway rolling stock – Fire safety of materials – Requirements, or PN-EN 45545 – Railway applications – Fire protection on railway vehicles,
  • PN-EN 50121-3-2 – Railway applications – Electromagnetic compatibility – Part 3-2: Rolling stock – Apparatus,
  • PN-EN 61373 – Railway applications – Rolling stock equipment – Shock and vibration tests,
  • PN-EN 50155 – Railway applications – Rolling stock – Electronic equipment,
  • UN ECE Regulation No. 10 – requirements relating to electromagnetic compatibility of equipment installed in vehicles,
  • PN-EN 62262 / PN-EN 50102 – degrees of protection provided by enclosures for electrical equipment against external mechanical impacts,
  • PN-EN 60529 – degrees of protection provided by enclosures,
  • PN-EN 60695-11-10 or UL 94 – flammability requirements for materials, including V-0 classification.

The experience we have gained enables us to design devices with consideration not only for their functionality, but also for mechanical durability, electromagnetic compatibility, fire safety, and the environmental conditions in which they are intended to operate.

An example of this work is the NV1 validator, manufactured by us in cooperation with PIXEL. As part of the design and preparation process, the device underwent, among other things, testing related to its mechanical resistance and enclosure protection rating.

As part of its expertise, BEESSET also designs enclosures and related mechanical components based on customer requirements and expectations.
