🔊 One of the devices installed in the new MAN Truck & Bus buses that entered service on routes operated by Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacyjne S.A. in Kraków at the end of December last year were PIXEL mobile ticket vending machines. As part of the delivery of this element of the system, we were entrusted with developing the complete software both for the devices themselves and for the Back Office system used to manage them.

Our responsibilities included, among other things:

▶️ Recreating the user interface (GUI) used in the mobile ticket vending machines already operating in Kraków, as well as adding a high-contrast mode to make ticket purchases 🎟 easier for visually impaired passengers,

▶️ Integration with the Verifone payment solution 💳,

▶️ Implementation of BLIK payments,

▶️ Support for the Kraków City Card 🪪 together with integration with MPK Kraków’s ticketing software 🖥, for example to collect tickets purchased through other sales channels,

▶️ Integration of the ticket vending machine with the Trapeze onboard computer to retrieve route and line information and report the device’s operating status,

▶️ Delivery of a central system 💻 for ticket vending machine management and self-diagnostics ⚙️.
