We are delighted to announce that yesterday, during the 13th Polish ITS Congress 2021, the project of the Białystok Public Transport Authority, City of Białystok, entitled “Installation of mobile ticket vending machines in 255 BKM vehicles and launch of a cashless payment system based on the MTT/Pay-as-You-Go transaction model”, received the LIDER ITS 2021 award in the BEST IMPLEMENTATION category. 🎉🥇🏆👏

Beesset’s responsibilities within the project included, among other things, designing the GUI for the ticket vending machines and developing the back-office software, including the Smart PixBee calculator 🎫 for determining the optimal fare amount, integrating the electronic ticketing system with the Transport Gateway, ticket inspection devices 📱 and the passenger portal 💻 www.ekarta.bialystok.pl, as well as the physical installation of the devices themselves.

We would like to warmly congratulate everyone involved in the project, in particular its main contractor, PIXEL, the contracting authority – the Białystok Public Transport Authority, City of Białystok – as well as the other partners who also made an important and invaluable contribution: APDU and Bank Pekao S.A.
