We are delighted to announce that yesterday, during the 13th Polish ITS Congress 2021<\/strong>, the project of the Bia\u0142ystok Public Transport Authority, City of Bia\u0142ystok, entitled \u201cInstallation of mobile ticket vending machines in 255 BKM vehicles and launch of a cashless payment system based on the MTT\/Pay-as-You-Go transaction model\u201d<\/strong>, received the LIDER ITS 2021<\/strong> award in the BEST IMPLEMENTATION<\/strong> category. \ud83c\udf89\ud83e\udd47\ud83c\udfc6\ud83d\udc4f<\/p>\n

Beesset\u2019s responsibilities within the project included, among other things, designing the GUI for the ticket vending machines and developing the back-office software, including the Smart PixBee<\/strong> calculator \ud83c\udfab for determining the optimal fare amount, integrating the electronic ticketing system with the Transport Gateway<\/strong>, ticket inspection devices \ud83d\udcf1 and the passenger portal \ud83d\udcbb www.ekarta.bialystok.pl<\/a>, as well as the physical installation of the devices themselves.<\/p>\n

We would like to warmly congratulate everyone involved in the project, in particular its main contractor, PIXEL<\/strong>, the contracting authority \u2013 the Bia\u0142ystok Public Transport Authority, City of Bia\u0142ystok<\/strong> \u2013 as well as the other partners who also made an important and invaluable contribution: APDU<\/strong> and Bank Pekao S.A.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The main objective of the LIDER ITS<\/strong> competition is to promote initiatives supporting the development of user-friendly Intelligent Transport Systems technologies in Poland, especially innovative and effective products, devices, implementations and scientific solutions.<\/p>\n

We would also like to take this opportunity to invite you to visit PIXEL\u2019s stand E-6 at TRANSEXPO 2021 on 27\u201329 October 2021<\/strong>, where, among other solutions, the NV1 validator<\/strong> \u2013 www.kasownik.info<\/a> \u2013 will be presented. The device supports, among other functions, contactless payments using payment cards \ud83d\udcb3, smartwatches \u231a and smartphones \ud83d\udcf1 as part of the PixBee tariff (MTT\/Pay-as-You-Go)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
