As part of the delivery of this element of the system, we were entrusted with developing the complete software both for the devices themselves and for the Back Office system used to manage them.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"447\" data-end=\"497\">Our responsibilities included, among other things:<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"499\" data-end=\"721\">\u25b6\ufe0f Recreating the user interface (GUI) used in the mobile ticket vending machines already operating in Krak\u00f3w, as well as adding a <strong data-start=\"630\" data-end=\"652\">high-contrast mode<\/strong> to make ticket purchases \ud83c\udf9f easier for visually impaired passengers,<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"723\" data-end=\"780\">\u25b6\ufe0f Integration with the <strong data-start=\"747\" data-end=\"759\">Verifone<\/strong> payment solution \ud83d\udcb3,<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"782\" data-end=\"821\">\u25b6\ufe0f Implementation of <strong data-start=\"803\" data-end=\"820\">BLIK payments<\/strong>,<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"823\" data-end=\"1003\">\u25b6\ufe0f Support for the <strong data-start=\"842\" data-end=\"862\">Krak\u00f3w City Card<\/strong> \ud83e\udeaa together with integration with MPK Krak\u00f3w\u2019s ticketing software \ud83d\udda5, for example to collect tickets purchased through other sales channels,<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1005\" data-end=\"1168\">\u25b6\ufe0f Integration of the ticket vending machine with the <strong data-start=\"1059\" data-end=\"1087\">Trapeze onboard computer<\/strong> to retrieve route and line information and report the device\u2019s operating status,<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1170\" data-end=\"1271\">\u25b6\ufe0f Delivery of a <strong data-start=\"1187\" data-end=\"1205\">central system<\/strong> \ud83d\udcbb for ticket vending machine management and self-diagnostics \u2699\ufe0f.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1273\" data-end=\"1381\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Below is a video \ud83c\udfa5 showing the process of purchasing a <strong data-start=\"1329\" data-end=\"1349\">20-minute ticket<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Onboard Ticket Vending Machine  - process of purchasing a 20 minute ticket in Krakow\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/TavIz621g3k?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\ud83d\udd0a One of the devices installed in the new MAN Truck &amp; Bus buses that entered service on routes operated by Miejskie Przedsi\u0119biorstwo Komunikacyjne S.A. in Krak\u00f3w at the end of December last year were PIXEL mobile ticket vending machines.
